The man, the myth, the legend—who ruled Yugoslavia while living like a movie star. Discover his life from the car he himself commissioned.
If you say Yugoslavia, you say Tito—the leader whose life was a blend of historical fact and grand myth. On this tour, we pass the villas where he lived, board the train he used to host world leaders, and pay tribute at his final resting place. Learn how he built a socialist state that defied Stalin, why his love for movies mattered, and what really happened when he met Elizabeth Taylor.
Things kick off at the Yugotour Headquarters at Karađorđeva 11. This is where you meet your driver and vintage Zastava automobile.
Note: Alternate pick-up and drop-off can be arranged while booking.

This leafy neighborhood is home to beautiful villas once occupied by Tito and his inner circle. Today, it’s inhabited by a mix of diplomats and the local elite. Our Zastava might look a little out of place among the modern black Audis, but it’s the most authentic way to see where the Marshal lived.

While few would deny Tito was a brave partisan fighter, he was famously afraid of flying. His preferred mode of travel was his custom-built Blue Train. Now kept in a hangar outside the city, it remains in perfect condition. You can sit in Tito’s private office, see the clever design of the meeting rooms, and even visit the presidential quarters.

This complex includes the "House of Flowers," the mausoleum where Tito and his wife Jovanka are buried. It remains a place of pilgrimage for "Yugo-nostalgics." The museum next door houses an eclectic collection of gifts Tito received from around the world, ranging from ancient weapons to a piece of the moon.
